This is such a nice, gentle story. I like it.

I’m not surprised to see that this is one of Shaenon Garrity’s favorite stories. It reminded me of her and also of Daniel Pinkwater.

I wonder if there are still American kids who say things like “I could be a white god to the Indians”? Probably there are. At least in West Virginia. No offense, WV.
